Set in the Brighton Beach neighborhood of Brooklyn, N.Y., Brighton Beach Memoirs is the first play in Neil Simon's autobiographical trilogy. The play is narrated by 13-year-old Eugene Jerome, whose family shares their small home with his Aunt Blanche and her two daughters. Family is at the center of this tender story told with Simon's infamous sense of humor.
