This musical tells the story of Annie Oakley, the best shot around, who in short time is discovered by Col. Buffalo Bill and joins his Wild West Show. In even shorter time, she falls in love with dashing leading man, Frank Butler. Complications ensue, but of course ends happily for all involved. Includes hit songs such as You Can't Get A Man With A Gun, There's No Business Like Show Business, Anything you Can Do I Can Do Better, and They Say It's Wonderful.
Audition info: Sat. April 1, 1-4pm and Sun. April 2, 6-9pm at Horace Mann Middle School, 1021 Oak St. Neenah (Use South parking lot & door - Band rooms). Actors should prepare 32 bar song selection with sheet music for the accompanist, preferably "classi" Broadway. No Monologue, you will be asked to read from the script. Come dressed to dance. Scripts are available at Appleton & Neenah libraries and at the Neenah Park & Recreation Department on three-day checkout. Scripts must be returned to the checkout site by Thursday, March 31.
