Performance dates: August 12 through August 22, 2004

Setting: the Gianelli home in Hoboken, NJ. Characters: Nick, in his thirties; Frank, his maternal grandfather; Aida, his maternal grandmother; Nunzio, his paternal grandfather; Emma, his paternal grandmother; Caitlin, in her late twenties. Nick sees both sets of grandparents for Sunday dinner every week. This routine will soon be interrupted when Nick begins a new job, which doesn’t bode well with his grandparents. Thus begins a series of schemes to keep Nick around. “A hilarious family comedy...”—Backstage.

This show replaces the originally announced show, "Born Yesterday".

Audition info - May 1 & 2 from 1-4 pm at All Saints Episcopal Church, Appleton for The Spitfire Grill & Over the River and Through the Woods. Format: Cold readings from the script. Stage make-up can do wonders, so don't let age stop you from auditioning for the grandparents. Attic practices color-blind casting. Each show auditions in a separate room, so allow time to audition for more than one director; wait varies. Prepare to list evening & weekend potential rehearsal conflicts. Scripts available for 3-day check out at the Appleton Public Library.
