Suddenly Last SummerCatherine is a girl who has been the sole witness to her cousin's shocking death. She is brought to New Orleans to confront a family that wants her to deny the tale she has told. The mother of the slain man wants the girl put in a mental institution. The doctor is ready with a hypodermic to force the truth.
27 Wagons Full of CottonDescribed as “ A Mississippi Delta Comedy” Jake set’s fire to the ‘Syndicated Plantation’s Cotton Gin, so they come to pay him to use his cotton gin. He is pretty proud of himself that he has ‘pulled one over’ so to speak on the Syndicated Plantation. However while Jake is busy working all day, Flora entertains Silva. Representing a strange turn of what Jake calls his ‘good neighbor policy’.
