In this darkly, comic musical, Seymour Krelbourn, a skid row orphan working at Mushnik's Skid Row Florist, longs for a better life and the love of his co-worker Audrey. He suddenly encounters a strange and interesting plant after a solar eclipse of the sun. He names the plant Audrey Two. Before long the plant (which thrives exclusively on human blood) is attracting media attention. Mushnik, owner of the shop, even offers to adopt Seymour. Things are looking up. However, Audrey II is growing bigger and bigger and starts demanding a full course human meal! It just so happens that Seymour's beloved Audrey is dating a cruel, sadistic dentist named Orin. Who better than to satisfy the plant's weird appetites? When Mushnik gets wise to the dentist's disappearance, what can Seymour do but make him the plant's next meal? Meanwhile, the plant is attracting worldwide attention. World Botanical Gardens even plans to take clippings of Audrey Two and distribute them all over the nation. It's clear that Seymour's Audrey Two is bent on nothing short of worldwide conquest! Can it be stopped? Will it be stopped? Look out! Here comes Audrey Two!!

Audition info: Sat. April 12, 1-4pm and Sun. April 13, 6-9pm at Horace Mann Middle School, 1021 Oak St. Neenah (Use South parking lot & door - Band rooms). Actors are to prepare a song and will be asked to read from the script. Scripts are available at Appleton & Neenah libraries and at the Neenah Park & Recreation Department.
