The Hopes, Dreams and the World as it is seen through the eyes of Li'l Bit, a young girl in a troubled relationship with an older man, Peck. The older man is her uncle through marriage who teaches Li'l Bit how to drive. Vogel presents the dangers of teenage temptation as Li'l Bit learns the rules of the road and life from Peck. This tale of forgiveness and survival traces the cycle of abuse in all its many layers. Vogel addresses this taboo subject in a tactful and at times humorous light creating a therapeutic way of facing trauma. The subject matter of this play is meant for mature audiences.
