Hobbits are peaceable folk and have no use for adventures-adventures make you late for dinner! But Bilbo Baggins (Tyler Jansen) is no ordinary hobbit. Recruited by Gandalf (Zach Morin), Bilbo accompanies a band of dwarves (Kyle Bikowski, Rachel Huszar, Joel Thomas, Dan Sinclair, Connor Diedrich, Tyler Schnese, Colin Lohse, Jordan La Belle, Josh Theyel, Rachel Sandlin, Peter Heid, Zach Scholl, Joe Jacobs) on a journey to recover their stolen treasure from Smowg the Dragon (Alex Jeanneret). Along the way, they brave encounters with Trolls (Jennifer Hanson, Stephanie Jacklin, Whitney Gossens), Elves (Nichole Jahns, Morgan Carr, Miriam Keep Demetra Danelski, Maggie Rufe), Goblins (Alex Jeanneret, Rachel Schultz, Mike Zimmerman, Kailyn Rudd, Courtney Oens, Chelsea Giguere, Shelby Jansen, Mackenzie Jansen, Meredith Carr, Cera Ebben, Sarah Jeannert, Katie Ringer, Sian Carr), and Gollum (Katie Cunningham). All ages will love the live staged version of Tolkien's "The Hobbit."

The Attic Jr. production is unique because it showcases the skills of Attic's college interns. Darlene Grummel, director; Allyn Weber, set designer; Aaron Sherkow, lighting designer; and Samantha Fromm, costume designer, bring a magical mood to the stage.

Audition info: June 17 and 18 from 10am to noon and 6pm to 8pm. This is an Attic Jr production for ages 6-18.
