A male instructor and his female student sit down to discuss her grades and in a short time become participants in a modern-day Inquisition. Innocuous remarks suddenly turn damning and their conversation turns into a violent examination of the machinations of power, censorship and abuse.

Audition info for Oleanna (and City of Angels) will be held April 7 from 4-6:30 pm and April 8 from 6-8:30 pm at All Saints' Episcopal Church on the corner of College and Drew, Appleton. Roles for adults (both shows total) - 24 men and 10 women. Prepare a one minute monologue. Actors may be asked to read from the script. Roles for one man, one woman. Please enter the door located on Drew St. A registration and information table will be set up by the door. This is an open call; all persons are welcome. No prior registration is necessary. Come to audition either day between the times listed. Some waiting may be necessary. Scripts are available at the Appleton and Neenah Public Libraries Circulation Desks. It is recommended that you read the scripts prior to auditions.
