The scene of this hilarious comedy is a fishing lodge in rural Georgia often visited by "Froggy" Leseur. This time Froggy has brought a friend, a pathologically shy man named Charlie who is looking for a place to relax. Before departing, Froggy tells everyone at the lodge that Charlie is from an exotic foreign country and speaks no English. The fun begins as Charlie overhears much more than he should! Winner of two Obie Awards and two Outer Critics' Circle Awards as Best New American play, The Foreigner shows us that one person can still make a huge and hilarious difference.
