Come spend the Season in the Spirit of Community! Rebel Alliance Theatre is pleased to present their original adaption of Charles Dickens' classic *A Christmas Carol* adapted by Kelley Duhatschek and directed by Kimberly Palmer. This production is a favorite with Rebel Alliance audiences, casts, and crews as it is truly a celebration of the spirit of community. The scirpt is a very close adaption and contains scenes from the Dicken's story that are not normally included in traditional retellings of the tale. The show is rated G on the Family Ratings System Scale.
Audition info - Sept. 17-18, 6-9. Rebel Alliance Theatre will hold open auditions for their original adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol on September 17 and 18 from 6-9 PM. Kimberly Palmer (Alice in Wonderland, James and the Giant Peach, Bridge to Terabithia) will direct this third production of our unique adaptation of Dickens' classic tale, one which very closely follows the original book. Though the performances will be December 7,8,14,15,21, and 22 (all evening shows at 7:00 PM, one Saturday Matinee, Dec. 15 at 1:00), the rehearsal period for this show will be complete well before the holidays and performances do not extend into the Christmas week. There are many roles available for actors of all ages and we are used to scheduling rehearsals around school and family activities, so bring your list of conflicts with you when you come for those auditions so that if you are cast we can create an efficient rehearsal schedule.
